Associated Spring SPEC are proud to announce the launch of our comprehensive range of Gas Struts, Mechanical Struts (m-Struts®), End fittings and Brackets onto the SPEC website.
Up until now we have used our gasspringstruts.co.uk website to sell and promote our range online, but the launch of the new SPEC website last year has given us a much stronger platform to display and distribute our diverse product range.
The gasspringstruts.co.uk website will still be available to use for current customers, but we will promote and recommend use of the SPEC website going forwards.
Along with the launch of the Gas Strut & End Fitting products, we are now listing the full range of our mechanical spring struts - m-Struts®. These struts were designed to meet demanding, maintenance free applications where conventional gas struts fail.
We will be launching case studies, application content and new tools for our customers, so check back soon.

Generation 2 m-struts – ‘no gas, no leaks’
Associated Spring SPEC launch their new range of m-struts to complete the current range that include high quality gas struts to fully stainless m-struts. Barnes Group launch a stock range of Gen-2 m-struts.
In line with the policy of ‘Good, Better & Best’, the new range fall into the ‘Better’ category while still proving the advantage of ‘no gas … no leaks’.
Gen 2 is manufactured from the standard gas strut components, including high quality springs to provide a new range of struts where low maintenance and the ability to withstand heat is a must: e.g. Roof Vents, Fire Escapes and applications where a strut is normally only occasionally cycled.

Die Springs- One stop shop for ALL your Die Springs
Associated Spring SPEC announce the launch of a new range of ISO & JIS Die Springs.
To complete the current product range of ISO, JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) & NAMMS (North American Manufacturing Standard) Die Springs, Barnes Group announce the launch of additional ranges of standard Die Springs.
JIS
This range includes 5 different product standards. Predominantly used in Asian markets, there are some applications where Japanese tooling requires replacement die springs to the original specification. These parts are available through Associated Spring SPEC.
ISO Die Springs - New wire section
Our new wire section enables increased travel of the Die Spring in an application where travel/solid height is a possible issue.
This new product range with additional load ranges includes Super Light and Super Heavy. These additional product ranges compliment Barnes Group’s traditional ISO standard range.
